Winning new business is the lifeblood of any agency. Although the pitch process can often be daunting and adrenaline fuelled, when it leads to a successful outcome it’s a rewarding experience for the whole team. After a fruitful first half of the year for Fleet Street Communications, Holly Page updates on recent new business wins.
Arc is the leading operator of fast-growing bar-restaurant brands Banyan Bar & Kitchen, The Box and Manahatta across the north of England. Established in 1999, the company currently operates 15 bars in both Leeds and Manchester, with plans for three significant openings in the next two months and several more in the pipeline. We’re thrilled to have them on board as it’s a truly fantastic business gearing up for its next stage of growth. The business has enjoyed a record year as a result of a combination of factors, including: a management team committed to maintaining outstanding brand standards and service to guests; and highly differentiated customer experiences delivered through key growth concepts. FSC will deliver a PR programme to increase awareness of the company and its brands amongst key trade and business media; as well as offering regional support for new site launches.
Feed it Back
Feed it Back complements our growing focus on the fast-moving world of hospitality technology and is a true innovator in field. Feed it Back tracks the word on the street about operators, through immediate feedback on experiences and online review platforms, such as Google, Facebook and TripAdvisor. It aggregates all feedback into one easy-to-use platform that allows operators to efficiently deal with feedback they otherwise wouldn’t have heard, reward employees for excellent service, communicate with guests and turn negative experiences into positives. We’re really excited about this exciting tech that also enables operators to see which dishes are popular with customers meaning they can sharpen up their menu engineering. We’re looking forward to telling the business story and demonstrating the impact of this powerful technology.
Woodforde’s is a Norfolk-based brewer – ‘Raised in Nelson’s county’ – that was founded in 1981. It has won two Supreme Champion Beer of Britain awards and is widely known for its brand Wherry. Marketing its brews as ‘tradition meets innovation’, it supplies a number of retailers, including M&S, Co-Op and Waitrose and several of its beers can be found on tap nationwide. Most recently, Woodforde’s announced a commercial sponsorship deal with Norwich City FC, and will be launching new products in the coming months. We are instigating a press-office campaign, helping to grow the profile of Woodforde’s and raise awareness across the trade and key industry media. We will be working predominantly on building relationships with trade titles and industry organisations, creating content to support its wide business ambitions and promoting its products and recipe innovation.
Treasury Wine Estates
Most recently, the team celebrated another notable win – Treasury Wine Estates – one of the world’s largest wine companies. Working on its world-class wine brands such as Penfolds, 19 Crimes, Wolf Blass, Blossom Hill and Lindeman’s, we’ll be kicking off a communications programme designed to not only raise awareness of its brands across both the on and off trade, but also build the company profile and shine a light on its category-leading strategy. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this well-regarded portfolio and look forward to telling the story and building awareness, alongside creating opportunities for Treasury Wine Estates to demonstrate its thought leadership credentials.
